Book Repair Workshop - Beginners Level
Tuesday, September 17,  10:00 AM - 2:30 PM at the Hooksett Public Library

Book repair seems as though it should be as simple as a roll of tape and 30 seconds to spare at the desk, though all of us know from experience this is not the case. Repairing, mending and assessing damaged materials is a process that requires an understanding not only of book structure and function, but also where your institution's priorities are in terms of budget and use of staff time. Learn how books best function, what can be fixed and what can't, the tools of the trade and how to take a wider look at the process to make the best choices possible for your collection.
