About ULAC

Urban Library Administrator's Consortium

ULAC's primary goal is to provide increased communication and information exchange among urban public library administrators across the state. We promote mutual understanding of library issues and problems statewide and nationally, to be able to better address those issues. We promote the marketing of the library as a resource for community development and civic infrastructure, with a goal towards achieving operational economies through cooperation. We encourage development of professional management and leadership skills, and we apply those skills to librarianship at member libraries.

Here are ULAC's current Bylaws.
